St. Patty's Day Swap Goodies

Hi all! We wanted to show you the wonderful package we received from Lynn. She was our partner for Viv's St. Patty's Day Swap. Check out all these goodies she sent us.
Love the little St. Patty's Day pillows. We've joined an Easter Swap and plan on using the glittered bunnies and eggs in that swap. :-) And check out those cute little vintage books on animals. Have those on our hutch for spring decorations. The lovely tin held cookies and snack cakes. Notice that I said held, as they did not last long at all. :-) Thank you Lynn for the wonderful package. Thank you Viv for hosting another great swap. Take care all!

St. Patty's Day Swap boxes mailed...

Well, we finished our projects for Viv's St. Patty's Day Swap and have mailed the boxes. Ashley and I love estate sales/thrift stores and we went through our stashes and found some fun treasures to create with. While at a thrift store recently, we found a bag of some older cardboard coasters you put drinks on. We are into the holiday subway art right now and thought the coasters would be perfect as a sturdy backing for a St. Patrick's Day subway art ornament. Here is the back:
And here is the front:
At various estate sales we hoarded found a box of unused "Gold Bond Bottle Caps," some gold "Glitterex" glitter, and green metalic ribbon. I'm liking how they turned out. We then turned our sights on some clothes pin dolls. We've hoarded different types of clothes pins and the only thing we had to purchase were the little stands and some shamrock fabric. Actually found the fabric at Joann's in the clearance section, so we did good with the price on that. Here are our little St. Patty's Day girl leprechauns:
And last, but not least, these are my favorite! I love holiday cloches and creating them with the plastic wine glasses. We've had the leprechaun cupcake toppers which we purchased at a flea market. The little tart tins were also obtained at various flea markets and estate sales. Along with confetti, snow, and printing the pot of gold image from the internet, we were set! Here are our lephcrechaun cloches:
Well, we hope that Viv and our secret partner love our creations as much as we loved creating them. Take care and have a happy rest of the weekend!

St. Patty's Day Swap

We have joined Viv for her St. Patty's Day swap. We've been going through our estate sale/thrift store finds seeing what fun creation we can come up with. A sneak peek at what is partially on the crafting table.
We'll be back soon with more sneak peeks. Have a good week!

Christmas Ornament Swap with An Artful Adventure

Ashley and I joined Cassandra for a handmade Christmas ornament swap. We were paired with three talented ladies. Take a look at the treasures we received from Karen.

Love, love, love this felt heart with jingle bells...

I love this decorated spool too...

And this cute little altered tart tin...

Thank you Karen for our wondeful ornaments. We will treasure them forever.

Have a great rest of the weekend.

Mystery Envelope Swap #7 with Donna

I am on a roll today. Received an envelope full of treasures from Donna. Again, I was so excited, that I forgot to take a picture of the goodies before creating with them. Here is the banner panel I created.

Thank you Donna for the wonderful goodies to create with. Can't wait to see what you create with the supplies we sent to you.

Have a good weekend all!
